Jason A. Copley, Partner, Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC
Jason worked in the construction industry for six years, utilizing his engineering degree as a project manager for a commercial subcontractor before earning his law degree from the Widener University School of Law. In his practice, he handles construction cases involving a wide variety of public works, multi-prime, commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and educational construction issues.
Mark Trimble, Senior Vice President, American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)*
Mark Trimble is the Senior Vice President at the AISC where he oversees all aspects of the association’s certification, membership, and engineering programs. Among other areas, his focus is on developing Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality tools for AISC. Previously, Mark was a vice president at Huntington Steel & Supply Company, an AISC member and certified fabricator. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he has served on the board of directors for both AISC and the West Virginia Society of Professional Engineers. For over ten years he has been chair or participating member of the planning committee for NASCC: The Steel Conference.
David Zalesne is the President of Owen Steel Company, based in Columbia, SC, with plants in Columbia and Wilmington (DE). He has held that position since April 2004.
David has served on the Board of AISC since 2006, was AISC Board Chair from 2017-2019, and has been on its Executive Committee since 2015. He has led AISC Government Relations activities for more than 10 years, testifying before congress and federal agencies; authoring position papers on infrastructure policy, Buy America and trade and tariff issues; and managing a unique and complex trade case on Fabricated Structural Steel imports. He has also served under four presidential administrations as an appointed Advisor to the Steel Industry Trade Advisory Committee, working with the Department of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative on trade policies affecting the US steel industry. In South Carolina, David is on the Executive Committee of the Palmetto Business Forum, and serves as Board Chair for Harvest Hope Food Bank. David was previously a partner in a Philadelphia law firm, and served as an assistant U.S. Attorney. He has a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law.
