For almost a century\, cars ran along it daily\, delivering the ingredients for making iron. Today\, it has been reimagined as an elevated park and pedestrian walkway. Member companies Levan Associates\, Inc. and LVTA fabricated and detailed the steel for this unique project which was completed in 2015. \nPlease allow 15 minutes travel time to drive from the HMT to Lehigh campus.  \n\nLehigh University ATLSS Center\nOrganized tour begins at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to start of tour.  \nThe Center for Advanced Technology for Large Structural Systems (ATLSS) at Lehigh University is a multi-directional experimental laboratory sponsored by the National Science Foundation. Its mission is to conduct cutting-edge research for civil and marine infrastructure and it is one of the largest of its kind in North America. \n\nLehigh University Fritz Engineering Lab\nOrganized tour begins upon completion of ATLSS tour.  \nThe national historic civil engineering landmark that is Fritz Lab occupies a venerable place in the story of modern structural engineering. Originally built in 1909\, new construction in 1955 added two high-bay testing areas to the research facility\, including a 5\,000\,000 pound testing machine! The lab is active daily\, testing structural members and components for industry and research. \nTour expected to conclude by 5:30 p.m. Please allow 30 minutes travel time to drive from Lehigh campus to Coca Cola Park.  \n  \nWe will end the day at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Baseball Game vs. Gwinnett Georgia Braves at Coca-Cola Park

We believe it would be great to invite some of our past industry leaders to our meeting to recognize their significant contributions to our industry.
